Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Profile Advocate's client portal and credit-consulting services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What we do
Profile Advocate analyzes your credit profile and assists you in disputing inaccurate, unverifiable, or outdated information with the credit bureaus and creditors. We provide guidance, organization, and a secure portal to track your progress. We are a consulting service — not a lender, bank, or credit bureau.
2. No guarantee of specific results
Credit outcomes depend on the accuracy of the information reported and the responses of bureaus and creditors. We do not promise that any specific item will be removed or that your score will increase by any particular amount. Anyone who guarantees a specific score increase should be treated with caution.
You have a right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report by contacting the credit bureau directly, at no cost to you. You have the right to obtain a copy of your credit report. You are entitled to a free copy of your credit report from each nationwide bureau through the federally authorized source. You have a right to sue a credit repair organization that violates the Credit Repair Organizations Act. You may cancel your contract with any credit repair organization for any reason within three (3) business days of signing it. Credit bureaus are required to follow reasonable procedures to ensure accurate information, and inaccurate information must be corrected or deleted, though accurate information generally cannot be removed.
3. Your authorization & responsibilities
- You authorize us to review your credit profile and to prepare and submit disputes and related correspondence on your behalf.
- You agree to provide accurate, truthful information and documents.
- You agree to upload bureau and creditor responses promptly so we can act on them.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
4. Your right to cancel
You may cancel this agreement for any reason within three (3) business days of signing, and you may discontinue services at any time thereafter. To cancel, contact us using the details below.
5. Fees
Fees, billing terms, and any applicable refund policy will be disclosed to you in writing before you are charged. We do not charge for services before they are performed where prohibited by law.
6. Privacy & security
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We protect sensitive data with encryption, masking, access logging, and two-factor authentication.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the portal, attempt to access other clients' data, or submit fraudulent documents or information.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or as required by law. You may close your account at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Profile Advocate is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
